Pride is a charity that is community-driven and volunteer based, and as such depends on donations and membership fees to allow it to continue its year round work supporting the LGBT community and putting on events. 

Membership runs from January 1st 2010 until December 31st  2010.

By being a member you are sharing and supporting our charitable objective:
'To promote equality and diversity and to advance education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community.'

We couldn't do it without you and we appreciate your assistance in making Pride happen. Membership enables you to take an active part in shaping Pride's agenda and objectives, as well as ensuring that its evolution stays firmly with the LGBT community. 

Pride in Brighton & Hove is committed to continuing to:

• organise the high profile annual Brighton and Hove Pride parade and free park event in partnership with the City Council and others.
• Developing the Winter and Summer Pride Festival weeks and other events as a celebration of all aspects of LGBT life and culture.
• Playing a proactive role in educating, informing, consulting on and enabling the LGBT and non LGBT community, alongside others.
• Expanding and increasing the organisational capability and financial sustainability of Pride in Brighton and Hove.

Your membership fee will contribute towards these commitments.

Currently your membership gives you the following benefits:

• You have the right to vote at Annual General Meetings. Here you can vote on important issues that affect both the organisation and Pride activities.
• You will receive regular updates about our work and invitations to Pride events throughout the year. We will always endeavour to ensure that you hear about what's going on first.
• You have exclusive entry to the Pride members’ area at the Main Park Event.
