Most of our events would be impossible without the voluntary support of people from all over the community, and we are grateful for the time, effort and commitment that is given every year.

At the moment we are trying to update how we can organise individuals who offer to volunteer as best as possible. Not only so we can utilise the skills offered in the best way we can, but also to make sure that the volunteers have as enjoyable and worthwhile experience as possible.

Our forthcoming events are the Pride Companion Dog Show on 6^th July, and of course the summer Festival Week from 26^th July – 3^rd August with the main parade and park event on Saturday 2^nd August. We will definitely need volunteers for these events for a variety of different tasks including stewarding, setting up infrastructure and staffing areas at Preston Park.
